Backbends are known as heart openers. They stretch anterior (front) structures of the body such as the chest, abdomen, hips and thighs but, just as importantly, they strengthen the back body. In this workshop, you will learn how to open the front body and strengthen the back body without compromising the low back so that you feel strong, spacious and free. RYT’s will receive one Yoga Alliance approved contact hour for Techniques, Training & Practice as well as one for Anatomy & Physiology. Space is limited.
