What first brought you to yoga and how long have you been practicing?
I’ve done yoga on and off for 40 years, first with instructions from a book, later with a friend who was a yoga instructor, and then with different instructors in all the different places we lived where ever I could find one. But I’ve never been this consistent with it until I found Susan and her classes.
What is/are your intention(s) for your yoga practice?
To increase flexibility and strength.
What is your favorite pose and why?
Triangle because I like the stretches.
What is your favorite class at InsideOut Yoga?
How has the practice of yoga influenced your life?
It’s made me stronger and more flexible, which is a great feeling.
What advice would you have for a beginning yoga student?
Go beyond Down Dog and Sun Salutations.
What is your occupation?
I’m a physician.
What activities do you enjoy?
Walking, swimming, hiking, running, gardening, and kayaking.
What is your favorite thing about living in the Northern Neck or Middle Peninsula?
Living on the water.
